Label for the unpack, not the pack
Write the destination room on the top and one side of every box, since stacked boxes hide their tops. A label maker helps if several people are unpacking. Number the boxes and keep a short list so you can tell straight away if something is missing.
Before the truck leaves
Confirm the utilities are on, check the water runs and the power works in each room, and walk the property for anything left behind.
