When you submit a Pro Match request or a contractor application we collect the details you enter: your name, email address, phone number, ZIP code, city, project type, timeline, budget range and any description you provide. We also record that you gave consent and the exact consent wording shown at the time. We keep basic technical information such as a one-way hashed form of your network address to limit abuse of our forms.
How we use it
We use your information to review your request, to work toward matching you with participating home professionals, to contact you about your request, to operate and protect our forms, and to keep records of consent.
Who we share it with
Homeowner request details may be shared with participating home professionals so that they can contact you about your project. Contractor application details are used to evaluate participation. We also use service providers who host our site and database on our behalf. We do not sell your information for money.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the information you submitted, and you can ask us to stop contacting you, by emailing us using the address on our contact page. Professionals who contact you directly manage their own communications.
Retention and security
We keep submissions for as long as needed to operate the service and meet our record-keeping obligations. Submissions are stored with restricted access and are not publicly readable.
